It has been with great sadness that I learned about Dieter’s passing from a friend of mine in the “SQL Ledger Network”. Apparently it has now been one year that he is no longer with us and can’t continue his work on SQL Ledger.
My sincerest condolences go out to his family and relatives – SQL Ledger still is one of my favorite Linux programs and definitely made my life as a small business owner a lot easier without the huge price premiums or subscriptions with similar business packages.
It is one of the few software packages I contributed code snippets but also translations and Chart of Accounts to.
You will be missed Dieter. Thank you for your fantastic work you gave to the world and all the emails we wrote over the years from which I learnt a lot.
